"Clouds Over Norfolk Seas" is an oil painting on canvas by me, Mary Kemp, created in my studio in Cambridgeshire in the UK.
I know my colours aren't quite real, but the sea and sky hold such wonderous colours so who's to complain if I exaggerate a bit!

There's something quite satisfying about a small oil painting and especially one of the sea.
To me the square ones are particularly precious and I love to hold them in my hand.
They can brighten up a small corner, make beautiful gifts and they are a wonderful way of getting into collecting original art.

CARE OF OIL PAINTINGS:
The good news is that oil paintings are pretty robust.
To keep your painting looking as new just keep free from dust and dirt , giving a light dust from time to time. Wiping with a damp cloth will do no harm, but don't scrub!
Keep in a stable atmosphere and away from direct sunlight.
Given these few precautions your painting should last for a very long time.
