This looks like either a shoe lace advertising or a collar button advertising device. Not sure what else it could be. Made by Cady & Staff out of Detroit Michigan to advertise Hall Motor Trucks produced by the historic Lewis-Hall Iron Works. The patent date on the device is December 1 1908. Some plating loss - silver in color - and some very light surface rust visible. Back portion is not perfect. Simply a great rare piece of Detroit history! Coin is for size reference only.
