Antique German 800 Silver Chamberstick Match & Photo Holder.

So unusual, this triple purpose holder consist of a candle stick on the handle of a rectangular open container for a photo, cards, slim book etc. and an attached holder for a small box of matches. The front and back of each holder has two cherubs. The background is of intricately patterned roses, flowers, shops scrolls, and lattice work.

The bottom of each is stamped 800.

Overall size of each is 5 1/2"w x 4 1/4" h x 1 1/4" deep.

The card holder can accommodate stationary, cards or a book 3" wide by 9/16" deep x 2 1/4" + high. ( or 73mm x 63mm x 13mm)

The matchbox holder accepts 1 1/16"w x 1/2"d x 1 1/2"h matches. ( or 44mm x 28mm x 14mm)

The candle holders take slim 1/2" tapers. ( or 12mm in dameter)
