Over 40 years ago, U.S. Games Systems published The Golden Dawn Tarot, revealing for the first time many truths and secrets of the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, and its interpretation of the tarot. Dr. Robert Wang the illustrator, faithfully rendered in authentic detail each card of The Golden Dawn Tarot deck based upon the esoteric notebooks of S. L. MacGregor Mathers. The card designs follow the symbolic framework of the Inner Tradition formulated by Mathers. Dr. Israel Regardie, the leading author/scholar in the occult field, skillfully guided the creation of The Golden Dawn Tarot, the last great secret teachings of the Order. The deck is still a classic, its symbols and references familiar to tarot experts everywhere.

This deck was printed in Switzerland, then published and distributed by U.S. Games Systems in Stamford, CT Copyright 1978. It is complete with all original contents. Namely Original Tuck Box, 78 Colorful Tarot Cards (22 Major Arcana, and 56 Minor Arcana), 2 "bonus cards" 1 title card and the other is a Key to the Tarot on the Tree of Life card, and the little white instructional book that features an introduction from Stuart R Kaplan.

This is a early edition- either late 70's or very early 80's. According to the LWB it says 5th printing. So 1st edition 5th printing. It's in very good vintage collectible condition. Minimal scuffing and fading on box and cards, Instructional Booklet is in great shape with no creases. Please see all pics and feel free to ask any questions.
