Portia and Purdy- ooak handmade shops art doll sisters

Inspired by the days of yore at the seaside, Portia and Purdy are donning their best bathing suits and hoping to soak up some sun at the pier.

Each girl wears a navy blue and white polkadot bathing suit, complete with mother of pearl buttons and sailor-suit detailing. Purdy wears a crocheted sun hat and carries her favourite treat, candy floss. they are both one of a kind, completely hand made from scratch with my usual method of wire skeleton, fabric body and hand sculpted clay face, along with my trademark movable polymer clay eyes.

Portia measures about 35cm in height, and has a shoulder span of about 6cm. Purdy measures about 20cm. Each girl comes safely packed in her own handmade gift box that matches her colours.

These art doll is a beautiful but shops fragile item and are not suitable for children.

As they is ornamental Portia and Purdy cannot be washed.
