Kunzite is associated with that of the stone of lovers. It was discovered in 1902 in San Diego, CA. It can be found in locations around the world, such as the USA, Brazil, Afghanistan, and Madagascar. This stone stands for devotion, calm, and clarity. Kunzite is considered to be a healing crystal that is believed to help with depression and anxiety.


One of the reasons to knot pearls and gemstones is to keep all of them from falling off the strand if it breaks.
If that were to happen, the knots will ensure that no more than one or two beads fall off.
When pearls or gemstones are strung on a strand, the adjacent ones will touch, and after some time, the rubbing will result in damage to the surface. To prevent them from chipping, they are often separated by knots.
