shops Vintage ceramic sugar bowl with lid decorated with gold hand painted ornaments comes from Belgium. Lovely footed round bowl was possibly used for baptism sugar. You'll get a fabulous adorable bonbonniere. Porcelain bowl has a label on the inner side of its lid "Doopsuiker In de rode angel" in Netherlands that means "Baptism sugar In the red angel" - the name and street address of the candy store in Belgium.
Sugar bowl is signed on its bottom Décor Helène Gumy.
