These are extremely hard to get out of Africa these days. Approx. 30 - 40 years old. The paint is beginning to crack. Made from animal skin and tree bark?? Heavy, has a rattle sound inside. Made by the Coptic Christians in Ethiopia. Completely handmade and hand painted.

Stand comes with the drum. Beautiful display piece, doesn't make a good drum. More for decor!
