Beautiful vintage mid century Italian Florentine, fancy gold gilt painted resin frame in very good condition! This frame has lovely embossed gesso "carved" detailing and is in its original vintage gold gilt finish. It was made by Turner and sold by a high end department store in the 1950s or 1960s. It once held a print of "Pinkie" -- the print was damaged and removed. This lovely frame survives.

This frame is exquisitely Florentine in style and simply perfect! The intricate embossed gesso style detailing. It looks like wood, but is made of a wood-base product I believe. It is quite substantial in size and weight.

Use this for a bulletin board, to frame a mirror, frame some antique family photos, frame a vintage print or use it for your wedding. I've seen these fancy old frames used to frame contemporary black and white photos -- and they are stunning!

Overall this frame measures 18"W x 22"H x 2.5"D, and the opening is 12"W x 16"H.
