Vintage Mid Century BARKCLOTH Fabric / 1940's- 1950s GOLDCO Barkcloth Fabric / Pale Aqua and Floral 'Gold Trellis' Pattern / Mid Century Collectible TEXTILE Cloth.

Today, what is commonly called barkcloth is a soft, thick, slightly textured fabric, so named because it has a rough surface like that of tree bark. It is usually made of densely shops woven cotton fibers.

-very good vintage condition with some obvious age, primarily along folds and in 1 spot which could easily get spot-cleaned, (noted in last 2 photos )
-colors are still bright and deep- (aqua ground color is somewhere between the most and the least saturated photos)
-a beautiful, unique pattern with gold metallic touches!
-kept in a sweater box in a smoke-free/animal-free household
-selvage says "Gold Trellis preshrunk GOLDCO"
