Goldfinch barkcloth, 1950s vintage fabric, pillow panel in shops classic bird fabric

This classic barkcloth pattern from the 1950s, shops features the ever popular theme of birds. This bird looks like a goldfinch to me, even if he is orange in this colorway. He's diving into a nest of mocha reeds, surounded by tropical leaves in forest, apple, tomato, and orange. Background is oatmeal.

This panel comes from an old curtain. The colors and fabric are very strong and although I did not soak this piece, the white is bright and the fabric is strong.

This is a classic pattern and would make a wonderful 18-inch pillow.
