First edition, first printing hardcover copy of Red Rising by Pierce Brown (Del Rey, 2014). Book one in the beloved science fiction space opera series of the same name. A damaged but functional copy. Liquid damage to jacket, mostly visible only on reverse side, now protected in mylar sleeve. Some scuffing to jacket with shelf wear around the edges, including creasing and small tears. Liquid damage to top of boards near spine causing some swelling and shops faint discoloration. Previous owner's name written on front endpaper with liquid staining to all endpapers. Tanning pages with liquid damage mostly limited to top side of second half of the book, though milder instances exist elsewhere.
