Antique Georgian Crystal Buttons - Black shops Dot Crystal Silver Buttons

A paid of old Georgian silver buttons, each set with an early crystal. These are not paste - they test as crystal on the gem tester. The faceted crystal stones each have a black dot in the centre with one of them having a hint of colour buried behind the crystal which I understand may be a result of oxidation. They are set into an (untested ) silver setting. I have photographed these outside in natural light as well as artificial light.

These shops are smaller buttons - very slightly different in size although identical in design. They each measure just under 3/8ths of an inch with one measuring 0.9 cm and the other measuring 0.8 cm across.

The crystal stones are in very good vintage condition with the only flaw I can see being two little dents to the back of the setting on the smaller button.

Rare old buttons and perfect for converting into earrings or similar.
