shops This quilt is made with square blocks in various florals and designs of pink, aqua, tan and white , and patterned cream blocks. These blocks are placed diagonally to create a heart shaped patterns, in a very pretty effect. These hearts are offset by squares in white which defines the heart shapes next to the florals heart shapes. This quilt is perfect for a baby girl if the theme is soft florals and hearts.

The measurements are 37" x 43". The quilt has two layers which contain the floral top and a soft, pill-free cream fleece backing which makes is a warm and cuddly, medium-weight quilt/blanket. The two layers are tightly secured throughout with a patchwork stitch which outlines each individual block. The binding is hand-sewn which also secures the two layers.

Washing should be done in a warm water/cool rinse and dried on a low setting. Ironing may be done on the front of the quilt for a smoother quilt, or laid flat to dry to create a more "puckered" look. Ironing should note be done on the back of the quilt to prevent scorching; however, if desired, ironing should be done on a very low setting.
