Dichroic Bib Necklace shops

shops This dichroic pendant has been made from multiple layers of kiln fired dichroic glass and hand shaped with a diamond blade and glass grinder. My glass designs are created with a passion for color, texture, and the dimensional dynamics that multiple layers of glass create.

This is a real statement piece! Multiple layers and colors of dichroic glass fired on a base layer of black. Lower portion of the necklace is strung with beads and the upper portion is antiqued brass rolo chain. Ajustable length up to 20 inches, Center pendant of necklace is 2 1/2 in long and 3/4 inches wide. Smallest pendants are 1 1/2 inches long.

Dichroic glass is produced by stacking layers of glass and micro layers of Quartz Crystal and Metal Oxides (which are vaporized in a vacuum chamber and then applied to the surface of glass in multiple layers) to create decorative glass with shifting color structures.
