Description
Very rare antique Staffordshire porcelain buccaneer's head inkwell. This piece doesn't have any makers mark and when I found it, it needed some restoration work. The nose and the pen excess ink reservoir on the side of the head kerchief have been restored. I believe that this inkwell was made in England maybe as long ago as the 1820's. The head measures approximately 3 1/4 inches long, 2 1/4 inches wide and 2 inches high. With the restorations, the piece is in excellent condition.
