Beautiful vintage, extra large black basalt pendant by Wedgwood from the "Classical Collection". In very good used vintage condition. Black basalt is all black (no white bas relief which would make it jasperware).
Excellent quality, in original Wedgwood gift box, or choose a new non-Wedgwood gift box for a lower price.

Fully British hallmarked sterling silver (925) bezel: JW, assay mark, silver standard, 1982 inside mount see photo.
18 carat gold plated on top of silver (tested).
Stamped WEDGWOOD MADE IN ENGLAND on rear.

Art nouveau style depiction of neoclassical scene titled "Spring" in full black Jasper. Would have been hand ornamented at production.

It has a new replacement 20" long, 2mm wide, 9 carat gold plated on 925 sterling silver belcher cable chain with spring ring clasp.
