Heart Shaped Dangle Earrings, Sterling Silver, shops Organic Texture

These heart shaped earrings are designed with an interesting, layered texture. They are free form and organic with an oxidized patina for contrast. They are approximately 1 3/8 inches in length from the top of the ear wire to the bottom of the heart.

I sawed these earrings out of sterling silver sheet individually to give them that handmade character. I then layered strips and balls of fine silver on top of the sterling silver heart to create an interesting texture. The hearts hang from a circle jump ring and handmade sterling silver ear wires.

Hearts are an image that have been around for centuries. They are an enduring shape and mean a lot shops of different things to a lot of different people. I hope they speak to you in some meaningful way. Enjoy!
