Hearts Centerpiece, Coronation Cord, Hand shops Embroidered, Wedding

This gorgeous linen piece has hearts created with Coronation Cording from the 1800s. How wonderful that the position of the hearts create an 8 point star in the center! There is also hand worked eyelets, many filled with needleworked stars. Near the center, there is a repair which looks like a satin stitched eyelet .The scalloped hem is masterfully hand worked in buttonhole stitching.

It is in good but well used condition, meaning some of the stars in the eyelets have worn , and there might be some other wear but nothing significant to notice on such a unique work. It displays beautifully!
It was slightly damp after laundering and ironing shops, so aren't best photos.
So unique for a wedding, Valentines, or anytime you want to feel heartfelt gratitude!
