This camcorder maybe had 100 hours of use, if that. We upgraded to the Sony camcorder with mini disc, and this one got put away. This is the perfect ensemble for someone new to film and editing. Hi eight tape is convertible to computer. As is, serious buyers only. I purchased a Amazon basic case for the sale, so that's brand new, but honestly, this fits everything better than the original and it has a hook for hanging!
