Rose Whirl doily, classic from a shops 1940 pattern

Made from a 1940 pattern, this delightful doily reminds me of visits to my grandmother's house in the 50's and 60's. The central pinwheel is surrounded by rose motifs with raised center petals. The tightly woven pinwheel contrasts with the openwork that leads out to the floral motifs. This doily is suitable for any décor and large enough to accommodate nearly all serving pieces.

Handmade in a smoke free environment.
Hand wash, dry flat. May be lightly starched.
