Holiday Mix Peyote with a Twist Seedbead shops Opera Length Rope Necklace

This 38 inch seed bead rope necklace is hand fashioned in Peyote With A Twist stitch. It is made of size 11 seed beads in a holiday mix of gold, green red, silver and white.

Peyote Stitch is a basic bead weaving stitch, one of the first learned. The rows of beads are staggered and interlock, looking like a brick wall. It is a very shops versatile stitch with many variations. Peyote with a Twist is a new variation, developed by Gerlinde Lenz, where a small piece of flat peyote is formed into a tube and then further stitched in round form. This method creates myriad design possibilities.

This necklace is pretty light. Seed beads do not weigh much, even almost 5800 of them; the necklace will be very easy and comfortable to wear.

This is a rope necklace; thin and opera length. There is no clasp, just one long continuous opera length rope of beads.

The mix of colors make this a holiday necklace, for all the dressing up, or down, you do in December.
