This container is ideal for storing cookies and will be much appreciated as a gift especially when filled with biscuits or sweets.
I glazed this container on the inside and lid only and left the outside untouched because I love the natural color of this clay. Contrast is not always achieved by varying colors, sometimes it's textures that create interesting and unique art work.
I am always amazed at the subtle differences that form in the glaze and the fact that there are so many factors of the glazing and firing process that create these truly unique pieces.

In all images the same container is always in the same position from left to right.

My work is designed and created with much love, always with the utmost consideration for its use.
This item is made from ceramic stoneware and is fired to a temperature of 1200 degrees celsius (2192 Fahrenheit).
It is glazed with lead-free and food safe glazes and is ideal for use in the oven and microwave but not over an open flame.
It is dishwasher safe.
If the item is out of stock, I can make another one, but the new item may vary slightly in size. That's the beauty of handmade objects.
I work alone and hope you understand that creating new items will take approximately 4 to 6 weeks.
