Vintage shops 1995 Cate Doddy Designs Signed Bless Your Little Heart Alexandra Rose Large Weighted Folk Art Rag Doll Wearing Real Children's Shoes

This is a very nice vintage 1995 Cate Doddy Designs Bless Your Little Heart large weighted rag doll with the original tag. The adorable freckled face stuffed cloth material doll has two beads for eyes, no nose or mouth and a head full of long curly red hair. She is wearing a blue and tan gingham pinafore decorated with a variety of buttons over a pink floral and lace dress with white pantaloons underneath and has a matching hat with a blue artificial flower on her head. On her feet are black socks shops and a pair of real childrens tan lace-up booties. The original Bless Your Little Heart tag is stapled to her dress and tells the story of Alexandra Rose who when reciting the pledge to the flag in school, puts her hand on her hiney instead of over her heart, because her Grammy always pats her hiney and says "Bless your little heart". That is the reason why this doll is signed and dated "Bless Your Little Heart '95" on her behind. She measures approximately 20" tall and is in good vintage condition with light wear on her clothes and staining on her body and on one hand (please see last picture).
