This is an example of our sack-hack! ~ We have opened out this antique Portuguese grain sack by cutting down the middle of the back, and then along the fold line at the bottom, giving one large textile, ideal for upholstery projects, pillows etc! ~*this is a wonderful fabric! It's hand woven linen and cotton. This textile has a hand stitched seam that runs down the length ~These sacks often have a stamp so that the sack could be returned to the rightful owner after the grain was milled. ~ it would also make a stunning decorative piece, just draped from a cupboard, or lovely to upholstery a stool etc ~ the uses are endless ~ We show both sides of this textile in the photographs. Often one side is more interesting, less faded or perhaps just brighter in tone! The joy of these textiles is being able to choose which side you like best for your project! ~*~

MEASUREMENTS: This textile measures approximately 42 inches wide by 40 inches long

CONDITION: This wonderful fabric has been freshly laundered and is ready to use! This textile can be hand washed and hung to dry or tumbled dry. Also, this textile can be dry cleaned.
