A wonderful antique grain sack dating from the mid 1800s. This sack was hand woven and used for storing grains! Such a gorgeous old piece with "GJ. L." initials monogram in blue next to two blue stripes. It's a lovely oatmeal toned linen with a soft, floppy feel that is somewhat coarse. There are 3 gorgeous patches that were hand stitched to mend this sack! Amazing timeworn condition! The original ties are at the opening. 100% machine washable, over and over and over. ~ These textiles were made to stand the test of shops time and are ideal for upholstery projects, pillow covers, bath mats, table runners, dog beds, curtains, lampshades etc! ~ Please see condition details below.
