Sixth-plate daguerreotype shops of a gentleman. Complete thermoplastic union case.

Striking sixth plate daguerreotype of a bearded gentleman. The image is sharp and clear with strong contrast. There is some tarnish near the bottom of the image and a blemish of some sort on his beard. The glass, mat, velvet pad and preserver are all in very good condition. The Peck & Co. case is intact with no major shops cracks, but two corners are bumped.
