TIN MAN Hefty Decorated Metal Heart shops Is a Standout Piece, along with 1930s Buckle and Charms

TIN MAN I made this necklace using vintage materials from the 1930s (buckle) to the 1980s (metal heart). The six-flower pin is from the 1940s, and the seed charms are from the 1970s.

The length of the necklace is 66 cm (almost 30 inches), and the drop of the pendant portion is 16 cm (6.3 inches). Both the heart and the buckle measure approximately 5 x 6 cm (2 x 2.4 inches) each.

Kristianna finds that the limitations of working with older materials inspire her creativity. She also feels like there are so many beautiful things from the past that are no longer worn or enjoyed, and that it is a pleasure to use these materials to create something fresh and modern.
