These cufflinks are made from Greek 5 Drachma coins, featuring an image of Aristotle. Aristotle, the Greek philosopher, student of Plato, and teacher of Alexander the Great. Drachma coins are increasingly hard to find. Greece, like much of Europe, has discontinued its own currency and now uses the Euro notes and coins.
