There is just something about Africa that seeps into your soul and stays with you. I set out to paint Utah and all of its beauty...but my heart keeps returning to Africa again and again. My daughter and I journeyed on an expedition to Kenya, Africa in 2016 and found it to be a life-changing experience. We were in awe of the amazing landscape and beautiful wildlife. Part of our expedition included an amazing safari with Nakupenda Kenya (and Bettina Leka). We returned home safely and deeply inspired, and left a large piece of our hearts in Africa.
