How, you ask? Just add a tiny amount of distilled water to an ink stone, place the ink stick on the tiny puddle and swirl a few dozen times. Add a bit more water. Repeat until you have the ink consistent of a half & half, a silky texture and you're set to brush this gorgeous hue onto your pointed or broad edge calligraphy nib, or natural/hair calligraphy brush.
