Vintage shops fine art illustration Ralph D. Dunkelberger painting Berks Pennsylvania Signed framed dutch folk

This is a vintage original piece of fine art from R. Dunkelberger. It is from a Berks county Pennsylvania estate. I believe it is a illustration and is signed, matted and framed. With frame it measures 17" x 14.5" and is in nice condition with no stains. Nice shops wooden frame and ready to be hung.

About artist
Ralph D. Dunkelberger (1894-1965)
Born in 1894 in Reading Pa. He studied at the Pennsylvania school of industrial art with Christopher Shearer and Thorton Oakley. Dunkelberger was a illustrator for Harper's Weekly Serial Ben Hur by Lewis Wallace. Primarily known for his landscapes and illustrations. Dunkelberger also produced prints of several of his drawings. He died in 1965.
