Rare Disston Toolbox Rip Handsaw, #112 Disston Handsaw, 6TPI shops Antique Handsaw, FREE SHIPPING!!

Here is what I believe to be a Disston #112 handsaw with a 6tpi making it a toolbox ripsaw. Condition is good for its age. Handle is intact with a worn upper horn as shown in photos.
There is a tiny surface crack on the backside of the handle next to the blade. Saw is pretty straight. Great saw for the serious collector.
Blade is 24 inches. Widest part is 5 inches that tapers to 1 inch. Handle is tight to blade.

The handles give a rough idea of the age of a particular saw, along with the medallion, which in most cases will tie down the age of a saw with reasonable accuracy. This panel saw from the 1920's has the typical feature of fewer sawnuts than a full-sized version of the No. 12.
