At our home way up in the Colorado Rockies, Steller's Jays are abundant and love to snack on our bird feeders filled with sunflower seeds. In the woods around our house I can find the most fascinating pieces shops of wood and roots. Combining these two in a painting was a fun thing to do.

Framed in a dark gold wooden frame with eggshell colored interior trim to complement the gnarled wood the bird is sitting on. Ready to hang.
