OOAK Teddy Bear Handcrafted from a Previously Enjoyed Fur Coat shops

'Diane' is handcrafted from a previously enjoyed Persian Lamb fur coat. Adorned with a purchased faux fur sweater accented with silver sequins. 'Diane' wears a stylish fascinator hat which is accented with tulle netting and carries a tiny purse accented with shops faux fur trim. 'Harry Potter' spectacles sit upon her nose.

'Diane' is 15" in height and is fully jointed (head, arms and legs move), handblown German glass eyes and nose, lined with muslin, her paws created from the coat's lining and stuffed with polyfil, ground glass, and hugs. Ground Glass is used in the belly and paws to give a nice weighted feel.

I take pride in the quality and workmanship crafted into each of my bruins...each has it's own individual charm and personality, no two are alike...even when created from the same fur coat. Since 1995, I have been 'handcrafting hugs' when I created a family heirloom from my grandfather's vintage fur coat he wore in the 1930's. Grandma never knew what became of that coat. Since then, my friends and their friends have been keeping me busy creating memory bears.
