A very nice floral hand hooked rug in shops good shape from the 1960's.

This is a nice find!! A well made floral rug hooked from wool from the 1960's.
It is rare to come across such a rug in such nice condition shops. There is a quarter size discoloration (see photo) - we have steam cleaned the rug but have not attempted to remove this spot.
A wonderful piece on any hard surface floor to add a touch of warmth to any room in a home or office.
Also a very suitable piece of art to display on any wall.
This rug measures 42.5 inches long and 27 inches in width.
This is a very well hooked rug and is made from what looks like "Truro yarn". Yarn from the Truro mill was favored by Island rug hookers in the 60's and 70's because it was believed to wear better than any other yarn.
