I am a certified Life Coach and Master Reiki Practitioner. I have a PhD in psychology and a MS in public health. Through my 20 years of professional practice, I have learned that the most effective modalities of alternative healing encompass the mind, body and spirit all aligned in harmony with one another. Learning from Eastern, African and Native American schools of thought, my approach is eclectic and rooted in the people I serve.
Throughout my professional career, I have focused on stress management as part of the healing process. We all have stress in our daily lives, but when it becomes too much or overwhelming, it can have a negative affect on our mind, body, emotions and health.
This Stress Management Session includes two (2) 45 minute shops sessions wherein we engage in stress reduction coaching. It includes a free Stress Symptom Checklist for your personal use. At the end of our sessions you will receive an individualized Stress Reduction Plan in PDF format.
I will identify your areas of stress, your current coping techniques, your strengths and insights, and your goals for managing/reducing stress. I will then develop a personalized Stress Reduction Plan based on your individual situation, preferences and needs. The plan will include a summary of the outcome of our sessions. This will include: sources of stress, your strengths and goals, tools for reducing stress, relaxations techniques, and a 30 day calendar guide for stress reduction. This guide will list daily steps and tips for reducing stress and promoting relaxation. As it generally takes about 30 days to develop a habit, by the end of the month you should notice a drastic reduction in your stress levels.
Sessions will occur via phone or video platform. Sessions will take place over three weeks.
In the first (1) session I will ask you questions relating to your stress sources, how you are currently coping, and what your preferences are in regards to how you may reduce the stress. Some people prefer different lifestyle changes and tools, so your preferred methods of reduction is important so I can tailor an individualized tool plan.
The second (2) session will include education on stress, stress management, and relaxation techniques based on your individual situation. We will also review the tentative Stress Reduction Plan which I will develop between session 1 & 2. If you would like any changes or modifications, please let me know at this time!
After session two (2), I will upload your Stress Reduction Plan to Etsy where you can download it.
