These pens use Schmidt 888 replacement cartridges. Each pen comes with one black 888 cartridge, already installed in the pen.

Two options are a hybrid pen made of epoxy resin and stabilized burl wood, and the third option is a curly bay laurel wood. All are hand turned in California.
