Vintage Antique Edwardian Summer Lawn shops Lingerie Dress, circa 1910 washed and ready to wear.

Vintage/antique Edwardian lingerie, lawn dress circa 1910 has all the details of the time period. White on white, embroidery, pintucks, mother of pearl buttons, lace inserts! Perfect for those hot summer days, whether just a casual get-together or a special occasion, this dress will turn heads! I do believe that the pintuck fabric that comprises the top was originally carried down past the hem of the embroidered fabric and was the underlayer of the skirt but it has been cut away. See the last photo. I also believe that this dress originally had an over blouse as I have not seen such a revealing style as this before. However, it suits the styles being worn today. Wear this little number with a white camisole and underslip and you will look gorgeous! I can find no holes or tears in the fabric or the lace inserts, and no stains. The embroidered flowers and hem are in excellent condition as well. All of the original tiny mother of pearl buttons are still there and the buttonholes are all in great shape. I do not believe that the ribbon is original but is also in excellent condition.

Please note all items are measured laying flat, so will need to be doubled for bust, waist etc.
Pit to pit 17', 43.5 cm, Armpit to drop waist 17", 43.5 cm, length from arm pit to bottom of hem 39" 99.5 cm, waistline measured 9 inches from the armpit 16" 40.5 cm. The hem of the skirt stretched out measures 46" 117 cm, so it has lots of swirl, for those spins on the dance floor, or on the grass!

This item has been hand washed and pressed prior to being put on Etsy. It came out beautifully! So, you can be assured this garment will last for many more years if cared for!

I will carefully pack but this item will likely need a touch-up with either an iron or steam before wearing.
