This Vintage Mariposa Woven Tray Basket was handwoven by the Houma tribe of Louisiana. Traditionally woven, it offers an intricate knotted pattern using natural palmetto strands. It's 9-3/4" long, 7-1/2" wide and 1-1/4" tall. In very good, used condition, it shops came from a private collection of Native American baskets.
