Here is a large barrel- shaped glass jar from the 1940's that resembles a keg. It's a Nash's Toasted Coffee glass container with a metal lid that fits well. The jar has a metal wire loop at the top with a red wooden handle. The lid shows wear and patina, as well as the green wooden handle. The glass jar itself shops is shiny and clear with no cracks or chips. The jar holds 10 quarts. The jar stands 14 inches tall and is 10 inches in diameter. The lid is 5 1/4 inches wide. A very nice vintage piece that still has a lot of possibilities.
