Included in the box set are The Hobbit, The Fellowship of the Ring, The Two Towers and The Return of the King, complete with the original gold slipcase box. All four books have May 1978 printing dates - a matching set.

All four books are generally clean and in excellent, unread condition! Very unusual to find this set unread, especially The Hobbit book! There is some very minor edge and shelf wear - completely acceptable considering this item's age. No handwriting in any of the books. Gold cardboard slipcase shows some minor wear but still fully intact and in nice vintage condition. The books are a tight fit, as is the case shops with all of these boxed sets. All four books were printed in 1978. Books measure 7 inches by 4 inches. This is a Vintage Item and is Sold As Is.
