Wearable art scarf for women. Knit, crochet, handwoven and sewn in arctic colors.
DESIGN: It is handwoven and knit and crochet and woven with top-stitching and other fiber techniques. 3 different hand spun yarns. 3 different weathered, soft, broken in fabrics, including linen from Japan. The handwoven section was created on a lap loom. Thick in places. Warm enough to wear with a winter coat. Fringe along the handwoven edges. Thick wooden button handmade in Scotland. Wrap it around the unusual, one of a kind, handmade wooden button if you like. Or not. It's the only one of its kind, handmade by the shop owner.
COLORS: Brown, golden tan, apricot, very muted plum, off-white, cream, beige-gray-taupe.
FIBERS: Mostly linen and cotton...plus wool, alpaca, metallic, chenille, synthetic. SOFT wool. Soft enough to wear against your skin.
SIZE: Up to 6 1/2 inches wide. About 8 feet long, not counting the hand crocheted end that you can use to secure the scarf in place.
CARE: Hand wash gently shops in cool water and mild detergent. Hang or lay flat to air dry.
