Knitted Handspun shops Shawl

This shawl was knitted by me to showcase a variety of handspun yarns. The center of the shawl is made of a Handspun merino yarn that I plied with a gold sequin thread. Then is alternate rows of a handspun yarn featuring locks in tones of gold and brown with a haloed light brown yarn with pops of gold sparkle. For the edging I used a handspun art yarn (not of my work) that I knitted with stunning shades of warm purple and coppery orange. In this art yarn are bumps of sequins, locks, and sari silk ribbon.
This shawl measures over 6 feet across (75 inches) from tip to tip and 20 inches long down the middle. This shawl is a stunning piece of fiber art that would make any recipient feel special.

Care:
Hand wash only with minimal shops agitation.
Do not iron.
Do not bleach.
Hang to dry.
