Originally made in 1961 by Mattel for the #850 ponytail Barbie number 5 and number 6. It was the first year for the hollow body and still had the small neck nob and can be used for the 1,2 & 3 dolls. This doll body is PRE MIDGE and therefore doesn't have her name on it. Making it more valuable It reads Barbie r Pats. Pend. c MCMLVIII by Mattel Inc. you can use this body for any early Barbie but the other straight leg original heads that shops work are all bubblecuts including white ginger & fashion queen She looks practically brand new with no chips, does perfect splits, has great joints and painted nails and toes (toes had some touch ups) Let me know if you have any questions!
