1950s Dress Black Silk shops Floral Print Full Skirt XS

A beautiful vintage 1950s dress of fine quality black raw silk with deep red floral print. Boat neckline and low scoop beck. 3/4 length sleeves with gusseted under arms. Fitted bodice, nipped waist, heavily pleated very full skirt has a wide panel of black tulle attached which adds an attractive weight and sweep. Matching self fabric belt. Unlined - may want to wear with a slip.Hidden painted back metal zipper.

Condition: Very good. There are two small pin holes from a brooch or maybe a tag below center neckline - it does not stand out when worn. There is a small mend to stress tear at under arm. Raw silk has natural texture and variabilities.
