Handmade Twined Rag Rug, 37" long x 25" wide, cotton & polyester, reversible, washable, shops yellow w/olive, lavender, tan and blue stripes

Handwoven twined rag rug. Two shades of yellow, a soft buttercream and bright canary, along with random stripes of lavender, tan, olive and soft blue combine to make a cheerful accent rug! This item is tightly woven, soft, thick and durable enough to last for years. Perfect for any room in your home from the front door to the bedroom, bathroom or kitchen. Rug is reversible though, due to the weaving process, one side will be slightly "prettier" than the other as I tend to hide the nubs when joining fabric strips on the opposite side. Wash in cold water, lay flat to dry. Due to size and weight of rug, you may prefer to hand wash.

I love textiles and combing color with texture. Gathering gently used fabric from a variety of sources (Goodwill, other charity shops, friends) I carefully sort, clean and prep the material for weaving. Each rug contains approximately 15-17 yards of fabric and many hours of work. Upcycling this material into a beautiful, unique item gives me joy and I hope to share the results with you. shops
