Shops Scarab and Quartz Necklace

shops This piece is made from five antique demitasse spoons of the "Egyptian" pattern by rogers. A lovely and rare pattern, it features a winged scarab, full of mystery. I hand cut, filed and drilled these pieces, and attached to them beautiful quartz crystal points. They all hang from vintage silver tone chain. I actually have a version of this one for myself and it is among my most favorite necklaces!

All pieces are unique. They are made completely from found and recycled parts, much like found-object art.
I have loved jewelry my whole life. I want to create pieces that drape and lay on the body the way clothing would, using relics and totems from years past.
