Alfred J Church was an English classical scholar. He wrote several works including stories from the Greek Tragedians and The Story of the Perisan shops War. Condition Report: In a full calf binding with gilt stamping to the front board and to the spine. Externally, very smart with light rubbing to the joints and to the head and tail of spine. Prior owner's inscription to the verso of front endpaper. Binder's stamp to the verso of front endpaper, Relfe Brothers. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright with the odd spot. Overall: Near Fine
