Hummel Goebel 'Stormy Weather' Porcelain Figurine

Notwithstanding the wet weather, these two Hummel children with a big umbrella is heading out for an adventure. The Stormy Weather figurine has seen a few variations and even a few different sizes over the years. The original figurine was designed by master sculptor Reinhold Unger in 1937 and has also been known as Under One Roof.

The figurine is crafted in porcelain and hand painted with careful attention to details. It measures 6" tall x 3-1/2" wide x 4-3/8" long. It is marked with a pressed in "M. I. Hummel" facsimile signature (her personal stamp of approval) on the back of the base and the underside has the TMK-6 The Missing Bee trademark. Initialed and dated by the artist who finished painting the piece in 1980. Made in W. Germany. TMK-6 pieces were produced circa 1979-1991.

No chips, nicks, cracks, or repairs. There are a few crazing lines on the girl's legs and on the base but no crazing elsewhere. In Excellent vintage condition, clean, bright and free of stickers and unsightly sticker residues. Presents well and displays beautifully.

Weight before packaging is 14.4 oz. Sans original box. Will ship boxed via USPS Priority Mail.
